There are times in life when you question and wonder if it’s all worth anything.

Life throws hail and mighty winds your way.

You stepped into the boat hoping for a ride,

but what you got instead was unenjoyable and demise.

You’re depressed and the boat is nearly swamped.

You are preparing to drown.

You say, “Jesus, don’t you care if I drown?”

Jesus takes you by the hand and his gentle voice says, “Why are you so afraid? Don’t you have any faith?”

He looks life in the eyes and says, “Peace. Be still.”

All you feel is peace.
