God showed me a diamond

half covered in dirt.

It had a rock around it.

Earth.

The gunk and sin of this worldly life;

the hurt, the pain, the lies.

But underneath it all was a beautiful diamond.

A white, pure treasure.

He said, “Sometimes you have to go through pain, hurt, lies, rock, dirt, earth, to get to what’s inside.

Once you get through the pain and the lies of this life,

it’s worth it.

What’s left over is my beautiful, wonderful treasure of life!”
