I saw something on Facebook today that made me pretty upset. I couldn’t even read it all. It was something about targeting transgender youth and forcing them to act like their assigned gender.

Now… as someone who has been transgender and walked away from God because of the constant fighting I had to do to advocate for myself at the time, then later came back to God and then realized that wasn’t who I was… I just gotta say a few things:

Christians, why do most of you (not all of you) feel the need to attack people of the LGBT community? All that is going to do is push them away from God’s Love! Yeah yeah.. I know that the Bible says that being gay or transgender or whatever is a sin. So is lying. So is stealing. So is gossiping.
No one is perfect and we all fall short!
No one is without sin.
If someone started saying that you are going to go to hell because of your sin, I doubt you would feel good about yourself or happy.
Instead, we need to show others the love of God, because that is what matters. It’s not up to you… let me say that again… ITS NOT UP TO YOU TO JUDGE OR CONVICT SOMEONE. That is God’s job.
It is our job to show people God’s love, grace, and mercy. After that, if you have the authority, then you can help guid that person in the faith. Let God do his work in that person.

Sorry for the lengthy post. I got a little heated there. It had to be said.
